If so, and you are a member of Facebook, a new group where you can mingle has just been started, a break-away from a rather successful, and fun international group for single pagans. If it follows in its international parent's footsteps, UK Pagan Dating will be a sociable group rather than just a hook-up and/or dating site, i.e. there is not a lot of pressure to find "the one", but to mingle and get to know other singles, perhaps even meet up at various events.
The UK Pagan Dating group is not linked, or affiliated in any way to any dating sites, and there is no fee, or payment to be made. Just turn up, have fun, and play nice.
So, if you are, or know someone who is single (or even in a relationship but perhaps poly-amorous), and a member of Facebook, and living in the United Kingdom, though I imagine anyone in the Republic of Ireland would also be very welcome, consider the UK Pagan Dating.
The more the merrier!
An eclectic mix of book and music reviews, ramblings and other flotsam and jetsom encountered on an expedition to find a place in the pre-Christian religious traditions, and practices of the British Isles.

Pagan Dating on Facebook
For all the dating sites out there, few are pagan-specific and some are unworkable; however if you are on Facebook, there is a group for Single Pagans of the UK, which is small, but growing, friendly and provides an opportunity to socialise and network, allowing relationships to develop slowly and as naturally as possible over the internet; within a broad pagan context.
Single Pagans of the UK is also a great pagan social network in general.

More Pagan Dating Sites for Singles
It seems the Ning network has two places for pagan singles to meet others. The first is the Wiccan/Pagan Singles Club, and the second is Pagan Singles.
So, for those who are looking for free sites, these might be worth a look.

Pagan Dating Chat
Finally, a pagan dating site has enabled chat, allowing members to communicate in real time, rather than resorting to conversing purely through the dating site. Most sites don't allow you to insert your mail address or telephone number even in private messaging and then, there are limits to the number or private messages allowed to individual members, making it difficult to make real life connections.
So, well done, Olde Souls, for installing a live messenger/chat section for us single pagans. I think I may be visting more often now.

Yet Another Pagan Dating Site
Its seems there are more and more sites for pagan singles, and here is yet another: Wiccan/Pagan Singles Club, which is part of the Ning social networking site. Again, it is based in the United States of America, but there are a few from the United Kingdom.
I do know of a few couples who found each other through these type of sites, so they must work on some level.

Desperate?
"Nobody loves me,
everybody hates me,
think I'll eat some worms!"
That's how I feel. I've been on those pagan dating sites for a while now, and I've sent out messages to several members, more than a few, actually. The response has been ... underwhelming. I have received no responses to any of those messages; not one male has had the courtesy to even acknowledge my post/presence. I feel like the least attractive pagan female in the English speaking world right now. The only serious interest came unprompted from someone 18 years my junior, and even he dropped off a few months ago, though there may be a serious, valid reason for his disappearance from the site.
There are stories about couples finding each other on these sites, some members even writing in their profiles they're not looking anymore because they've found someone. So, it must happen.
I may have to resign myself to the fact I just don't fit into the pagan female mould that men seek. Certainly, my profile differs from that of the other women who frequent these sites - see my post "Stereotyping" for elucidation. I must admit I am a lot older than most of the other females, too. Perhaps I've left it too late in life to look? Perhaps the gods have other plans for me? Wouldn't be surprised.
In the meantime, if you're a single, heterosexual, pagan male, resident anywhere in the British Isles, who can relate to what I write here at my online journal, you'll find me at the bottom of the garden ~ munching on worms.

Online Pagan Dating Sites
I have to admit to deciding that I wanted to get on the dating scene back in January. I sort of dabbled with one pagan dating site at the time, but didn't take it any further. While on hoilday, I realised that my time on this earth is landsliding away and I can't keep putting off things that require considerable effort - such as dating and relationships.
So, once I had my photographs processed and I had made a start to write up my travel journal, I did a few internet searches for pagan dating sites. Considering how important my beliefs are to me and seeing some of the attitudes of outsiders to pagans, not to mention my quirks (apart from being pagan), I thought it best to stick with those that my understand where I was coming from. Since I am not that fussy about looks (preferring intellectual stimulation), having eclectic tastes in music, food and other areas, and with location not being an issue, I figured there would be at least some decent gentlemen out there with whom I would want to at least strike up a conversation. How wrong could I be?
So far I have signed up with four different sites, including one with a popular organisation whose ethics I loathe, I am rather dismayed to find the only men worth considering have already found partners or are way too young for me - I draw the line at 25 FFS.
Is there no such thing as a decent pagan male who is single? What do you, dear reader, think? Have you any suggestions for me?
